525 Long Term Care

Everything 525 Long Term Care (LTC) did for us was excellent. My only complaint about Timeliness wasn't actually 525's fault but rather the amount of time the insurance company took to approve my application. BTW, 525 was able to find me long term coverage at the same price as other applicants even though I have had Type 1 diabetes since I was in my teens. When I've investigated coverage in the past (without actually applying), I've always been warned that I would not qualify or if I did happen to qualify I'd be paying an exorbitant price. That was not the case with 525; they felt I would qualify and they were right. Thank you Brian Ott and Madalyn Lutsch for all the work you did!!!

My husband and I attended one of the 525 information sessions at a hotel. It was very informative and the guide book that Brian Ott has written was full of great explanations both in written and visual format. We followed up with a one on one meeting with Brian. I was so impressed with how much time he gave us to answer all of our questions. The meeting wasn't over until we had exhausted all of our questions. Brian's assistant did an excellent job in processing our paperwork and preparing us for any questions the insurance company would be asking us. Everything was done in a timely manner. I am 74 and didn't think I would qualify or be able to afford long term care insurance. Brian and Madalyn were exceptional people to work with for our insurance needs. They helped educate my wife and I about the many options for life and disability insurance, worked hard to provide us with options and made sure we understood them all. They hand-held us through the process, were very responsive throughout it all and turned what was sometimes a tedious experience into a great outcome for me and my family!

My wife and I attended a seminar (round table) for some planning information and found it to be very helpful with suggestions and ideas to consider for planning as we age. We signed up for a meeting with Brian for additional information for a plan focused on our current situation. Brian offered many options on a variety of coverage, funding options and advice on what would fit our current position. We met with our financial advisor and his input of the plan we were considering and his advice was positive. We moved forward in the process, we now have a plan in place and are comfortable with our choice. Both Brian and Madalyn were very accommodating in the entire process and we felt extremely comfortable interacting with them. When I first met with Brian and Madeline at 525 Long Term Care my knowledge and experience with Long Term Care insurance was limited to my existing traditional policy. The policy had an annual premium that was variable, a maximum lifetime amount that would be exhausted in 4 years and a nominal monthly benefit that would not begin to cover long term care cost based on the experiences I had recently with my father and my father's long term care needs after my father was discharged from the hospital. Brian explained to me the variety of options that were now available, objectively presenting the pro's on cons with each. We reviewed my current financial status and the goals and objectives I had as I age, including the desired disposition of my assets when I pass. We looked at my overall health and life style as well. Brian then took data from our meeting and came up with several very attractive options from the traditional to the asset based and a hybrid of both options. We discussed next steps to crystallize a plan that would be the most optimal for me. Madeline advised me on what to anticipate with the medical assessment so there would be no surprises. After that assessment, Brian and I met again, reviewed several options and came up with a plan that includes an asset based foundation and a supplemental 20 Fixed Permium policy with an inflation rider. The plan asssures me and gives me the peace of mind, that should I need to use Long Term Insurance my needs will be met without exhausting the assets I have taken a lifetime to acquire. The education, time, thoroughness, true careing & concern for my needs Brian and Madeline had gave me real comfort that their goal was what was best for me as I age. Their non pressure approach was another real plus. I would highly recommend 525 Long Term Care for one's Long Term Care needs.
