I reached out Chief Freddie in the final hour before my assessment. He warned me that we didn’t have much time to prepare and we immediately got to work. He’s very knowledgeable which gave me the confidence I needed to excel. Fast forward 6 months later, I was promoted on the first list of my Lieutenants exam.

I have my assessment center coming up in a few days. Cheif Freddie has helped me gain confidence in my ability to successfully work through the process. I am confident I will be promoted soon. I will also be recommending this program to others who are looking to advance their careers. So many resources do not dive into the specifics of assessment centers. Generic information is helpful, but Chief Freddie had me running mock events during our meetings. There is no better way to prepare than to do the scenarios.

I’ll start off by saying that Chief Freddie made me the #1 candidate on my promotional list. After my agency’s written exam I sat in second place two points behind the first place score. The bad news…there was a three-way tie in first, meaning I was really in fourth place. I started working with Chief Freddie and after a couple of sessions he told me I was ready. I thought he was blowing smoke up my you know what…but results don’t lie. I walked out of the assessment center very confident that I had dominated it. A couple of weeks later my agency released the results….I had the top score in the assessment center. The next closest candidate…another Chief Freddie student. I finished #1 overall for our promotional exam with the next candidate more than three points behind. Not bad for a fire guy coaching a cop. Thanks Chief!
