Pink Dot Moving

ETA: HUGELY unprofessional. They took pics inside my home of things they weren't even expected to touch much less move. They posted those pics as a response to this same review on FB. So incredibly rude. Of course it was a mess - I was moving & they were only expected to move what was ready. Absolutely negative 100 stars if I could. Horrendous. I'm recovering from surgery & just wanted them to move my heavy boxes & my furniture. JP the owner expressed no concern about the inventory I gave not fitting into their truck, which IS their actual job. They gave me an 11am-1pm arrival time but called at 9:30 to say they were on their way. Then they told me their truck broke down & they brought a smaller truck that they rented from Uhaul. wasn't ready but they had to come. They took boxes & started on the furniture then told me they picked up another job & wouldn't be moving everything I on the inventory bc the truck was too small. They refused to do a 2nd run (I was moving 3 miles away). I complained to JP & got a measly $25 off for my "trouble". They halfheartedly offered to reschedule but I had to be out the next day. They took fewer boxes & less furniture than THEY estimated would fit on their original truck. And then told me their truck was only a foot longer than the Uhaul they brought do it wouldn't have fit anyway. Things that are t my problem: they estimated wrong, their truck broke down, they picked up another job. They said reasons they wouldn't accommodate me were that stuff was in the way (thru came waaayyy early) & that it was dirty (umm, moving/cleaning?). I had to hire a Uhaul the next morning & have my brother & nephew come last minute to finish. I emailed them once I could address it more asking for a partial refund & got a really rude response from Morgan saying "the matter is closed" & refusing anything in return. I was referred to them by another company that was booked. I let them know what happened & I'll put this review anywhere I can. They left me screwed, they were rude, & I would never recommend. They didn't help so I went with other recourse. FAAFO

The booking process and day of labor was good; however, a number of our items were damaged as a result of improper wrapping and truck loading. For example, not putting furniture blankets on the whole item, leaving the legs exposed for damage, up-righting furniture on end in the moving truck so items were rubbed raw against the metal floor (without putting anything under!), leather couches were moved with no protection whatsoever causing them to be ripped and finally in our initial box stacks, the heaviest ones were all the way at the top and the lighter boxes (some marked fragile) formed the base, resulting in boxes be crushed and items ruined. This company would be good for small local moves with few items but nothing larger or with nicer items.
