The busses were beautiful- drivers were early. Most of the trip was fantastic. However, the lead driver did not tell me her GPS was not working so we missed the turn off for Santa Cruz and instead ended up in Salinas- making us an hour and a half late for our event. Luckily the event coordinators were able to move us back a bit but it made us rush incredibly fast and stressed every single member of my band and color guard. Since this was our first competition in two years it made it extra hard for us to do our business. Both drivers were incredibly kind but that mistake really hurt our experience. Hindsight is always 20/20- I wish she had spoken up at the beginning of the trip- I would've had one of us on the map the entire trip.
