Harper, DPM, is an exceptional board-certified podiatric physician, providing the highest caliber of podiatric care at Wasatch Foot and Ankle Center with two locations in Heber City and Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Harper has over two decades of experience and is board-certified in surgery with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He encourages a healthy lifestyle, focuses on conservative care where appropriate, and happily treats men, women, and children of all ages. After completing his undergraduate training at The University of Utah, Dr. Harper graduated with honors from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine (FKA Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1994. He finished a two-year surgical residency in 1996 at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, where he served as the chief resident during his final year. In 1996, Dr. Harper became a proud diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons. He’s also certified in the use of shockwave treatment (Dornier and Ossatron) for plantar fasciitis (heel spur syndrome), and the use of arthroscopic and endoscopic procedures of the foot and ankle. He’s completed multiple diabetic ulceration and bunion (pain) studies, and he has participated in bunion and ulceration clinical research trials with Jean Brown Research. Dr. Harper stays abreast of the latest medical tools and technology and strives to provide the most affordable, fastest, and smoothest path back to health. Dr. Harper treats each patient directly, and his solo practice isn’t owned by any large group or health organization, allowing him to spend ample time providing each patient with the empathic and personalized care they deserve. Dr. Harper’s approach to health care always puts the patient first and fosters a long-term doctor-patient relationship with open and honest discussions. Away from the medical office, Dr. Harper is married with three beloved children. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoys camping, fishing, hunting, and riding all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) with his family. He also enjoys riding his tractor around the yard and driving his 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser.
