My visit to TotalBond reminded me of when you go to get an oil change and end up spending $$$ because the "Professional" told you that you needed to do everything under the sun to rack up your bill. The people there are friendly and kind and they FEEL like people you can trust, but BEWARE! I ashamedly allowed the vet to prematurely administer vaccinations/boosters to my dog. It was only after my visit that I found out how incredibly RISKY and unethical the things that I trusted that vet to do to my dog at her current age. If my dog had been the proper age, there would be no problem at all, but that vet still insisted on administering those vaccines, took advantage of my ignorance, and knowingly risked the health & wellbeing of my dog. She wanted to do several other unnecessary things during the vet visit to rack up my bill and I stupidly allowed her to do them. The vet-tech had to continuously prevent the vet from performing a fecal test because it had already been done recently, but the vet still tried to do it several times throughout our visit. This visit would have ordinarily cost me $46 at my vet back home, but my visit to TotalBond ended up costing me $140+! In addition to everything so far, the vet made me feel extremely uncomfortable about decisions I had already made concerning my dog (such as not spaying my dog as well as maintaining the medications that I trusted and was already using). I figured there would be some kind of sales pitch for whatever medication THEY use, but I was not prepared for how pushy and persistent she was about it. She insisted that I needed to heed her "professional advice" until I finally told her that my decisions in those areas were firm, which she still would not fully respect. To those considering this vet, DON'T! Or at least pray that you're not as ignorant as I was, cause they will take advantage of that faster than anybody I have ever encountered before.
