Meet Dr. Timothy Gogan
Dr. Timothy C. Gogan, DDS, is a knowledgeable and experienced family dentist with 40 years of diagnostic experience with superb results. Dr. Gogan received his degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He opened his own practice in 1976, committed to creating healthy teeth and gums for a lifetime.
Dr. Tim has volunteered his time, talent, and treasure to help various charities in the Los Angeles area for the last 45 years. Some of his volunteer work includes:
• USC mobile dental clinic providing free dental care for American Indian children and migrant farmer children
• USC Troy Camp - camp counselor and tutor
• St. Brendan Church youth leader
• Senior Citizens Director - coordinated holiday luncheons/bus trips
• Volunteer Larchmont Boulevard Association - chairperson for Larchmont Family Fair
• Vice President - Windsor Square/Hancock Park Historical Society - preserving the history and architecture of the Windsor Square/Hancock Park area
• Floral Décor - Christ the King Church (10 years) & St. Brendan Church (30 years)
• Beautification for Larchmont Village (17 park benches & 10 planters)
• Lector and cantor at St. Brendan Catholic Church
Dr. Gogan was selected from over 800 applicants as the official dentist for the 1984 Summer Olympic Games. He personally treated 150 athletes, coaches, and trainers at the University of Southern California Olympic Village.
Specializing in tooth bonding, porcelain crown and bridge work, Dr. Gogan has also written for the Los Angeles Times Health Syndicate and the Larchmont Chronicle. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Los Angeles Dental Society.
