 Our Story and Philosophy  Hi! We are Dr. Assudani and Sam of The Smile Artists in Culver City, California, two awesome friends who also share an immense passion for dentistry. And when that happens, dinner conversations become brainstorming sessions, sharing our experiences and ideas around how to improve dentistry! Before long, we realized we are warming up to the idea that breaks the norms, an idea where a dentist and a hygienist partner together in their quest to re-define dentistry. And “The Smile Artists” was born. Our mission became to establish a dental practice where both of our areas of specialization become the key focus of the practice and for the first time truly deliver what comprehensive dentistry really entails and means. And we did not want to stop there; we wanted a practice that softens the intimidation patients feel going to a dentist, by putting up a cool, fun atmosphere and working with easy going and professional staff. As a part of comprehensive dentistry, we believe and practice three core values: prevention, restoration, and maintenance. In prevention, we ensure enough time for performing thorough assessments that identify dental problems early or before they even begin. If you need restorative care, we believe in conservative dentistry and avoid any unnecessary treatment. Lastly, we are never shy in sharing those awesome tidbits around good oral hygiene that enable our patients to sustain and protect that long lasting and healthy smile.
