We booked the load with Shram on 8/11/20 from Harrisonburg, VA to Charlotte, NC for $1,100.Vic with Shram told us the load was hot and Charlotte ( Amazon Dist. ) will take it asap on 8/12/20. We asked Vic about an appointment time and said it was a FCFS ( first come first serve). This didn't sound correct since Amazon usually requires an appointment. Our driver arrived in Charlotte at 9am on 8/12/20 and Amazon rejected the load and said the appointment was in fact on 8/13/20at 3am. If we had known the appointment was an early am delivery, we would have never agreed to take the load. This was the beginning of the problems with this load.
Vic at Shram was notified of the 3am appointment. We told Vic that the current driver was booked on another load and couldn't make that delivery. We would have to put the delivery with one of our other drivers. We asked Vic to make an appointment for 7-10am that we could make without problems. Shram came back with an appointment on Saturday 8/15/20 at 1am.
We had a driver that said he was able to make the Saturday 1am delivery. I spoke to our driver Saturday at 8am and said he thought the delivery was for 1pm. So, we missed that delivery. This was totally on us and we accept the responsibility for this missed delivery.
I notified Shram of the missed delivery and they got another appointment for Monday 8/17/20 at 10pm. So, our driver arrives once again in Charlotte at 9:30pm for the 10pm appointment. Amazon sent the driver away and told him to wait at a nearby truck stop and he would be called. So, once the driver was called and unloaded, it was 3pm. Olga at Shram said for us to keep up with the unloading time and we would be paid for the additional time. Our Driver said Amazon said our appointment was for 1am, not 10pm. Once again lied to us about the delivery.
Shram was notified of the completed delivery and 5hrs unloading time. Alex at Sham said that we would not be paid any additional monies and our paid would be held up for the missed
appointments. Shram now tells me that we are going to be charged $400 for the late delivery !!
Shram has a lot of reviews on Facebook that are similar stories. This company tells lies about appointments to get the loads picked up and then trucking companies experience delays upon delivery. This is a very unscrupulous company and I don't feel we will ever receive payment unless we file on their bond.
