After six months of confusion and frustration, I finally figured out why Medi-Cal did not cover my OTC psyllium powder (Metamucil). I called Medi-Cal today asking why the drug is not currently covered yet it did so in the past. As it turns out, the Safeway Pharmacy staff (at 2020 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94114) has been lying to me that it is not covered by Medi-Cal. MY HEALTH SUFFERED GREATLY AND I ALMOST DIED HAD STRANGERS NOT CALLED 9-1-1! Their grade: F U.
