RUHL, NEVER WENT OUT TO SURVEY THE LAND!!!!! NEVER RETAINED TITLE INSURANCE ON THE LAND THAT THEY PURCHASED ON MY BEHALF. I'm a Single mom who saved to purchase her first dream home. They never did their due diligence to make sure the land was buildable. They strung me along for 2 years and promised they would rectify the issue, knowing that they would never do so. In the mean time the interest rates went up and then they say they couldn't build the home at the CONTRACTED price due to all materials went up. Now I'm left with no dream home and they had the nerve to take my earnest money due to their mistake!!!!!! There contract prevents recovery in small claims court you have to go to arbitration which would be more then earnest money plus lawyer fees. DO NOT BUILD WITH RUHL/ASHER HOMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BEWARE of Daniel Ruhl/Ruhl Construction/Asher Homes! Please do your homework and read all of their reviews before making one of the most important decisions of your life. He will destroy your finances & dreams. These lying thieving thugs, and will rob you of your trust, money, time, and for some, cost them their marriages due to stress. Yes, what he puts families through destroys marriages. Daniel Ruhl homes look beautiful until you step foot in one or live it, then you quickly notice what pieces of junk they are from top to bottom...and that's putting it mildly. Not to mention what you can't see. His homes often have plumbing & framing issues. The junky baseboards, window frames, cheao cabinets, painting, crooked short doors are just a few of the issues you'll find wrong. Again, please read his reviews and look at the pictures posted for yourself. Look up Daniel Ruhl & Ruhl Construction on Yelp, Facebook, Google and numerous platforms, and you'll see what a disgraceful lying fake Daniel is. Look up the Aspen Creek neighborhood where Daniel Ruhl robbed the homeowners of peace & comfort in their own homes, and continues to be in a major legal dispute with the community. Call any lawyer, broker, real estate agent, property manager, contractor in Tulsa, the builders association, the city, and they will all tell you to run fast & never build or buy a house from Daniel Ruhl. Anyone who tells you any different is either lying or has never stepped foot inside one of his builds, or they regretfully own one, and are desperately trying to hock it on the market, and don't want to tank their resale value. Legal contracts mean nothing to Daniel Ruhl. He does not honor anything he signs. He scoffs at legal documents once you try to hold him to his legal responsibility. Never hand him a single penny, because he will never return a single dime, even if the law says he is required to return it to you. He is a hustling crook, and so are his employees John & Gerold. He's the biggest con artist & fake in Tulsa. What he'll do to your dreams, finances & trust in humanity is worse than any tornado Oklahoma has ever experienced. He will turn your world upside down & shake you down for every penny you have. Heed the warning & run fast!!!

Horrible experience with building process. 2 years since we built our home with this company and I still find so many wrong and terribly executed things in my house that need to be completely redone. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Their warranty is a joke, work quality is terrible. My house start fouling apart from the moment I moved in.

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!! Their contract ironically prevents recovery rights for “aggravation, pain and suffering, mental anguish, or emotional distress.” That is precisely what they put a multi-generational family of five with two USMC veterans through during a 19 MONTH building process!! One was a USMC Vietnam combat veteran who lost his beautiful wife to a horrific battle with dementia during the build. 19 MONTH process started in December 2017 and was a TOTAL mess. Top screw ups - 1) Driveway built 25 ft OVER property line preventing clear title and then started to fall apart 3 months post-install, 2) Brand new roof needed repairs, 3) Stucco without expansion joints would cost at least $5-10K to fix, 4) Septic tank with sprayers placed on wrong side of house, 5) Kitchen vent hood has overhead vent that exhausts onto ceiling instead of recirculating system promised, 6) Had to pay more because office did not reserve hard surface material in time, 7) Installed wrong wood flooring AND backsplash, 8) Fireplace installed incorrectly, 9) Kitchen cabinets and house walls painted wrong color and finish, 10) Water leaks in garage, 11) Water line kink in master bath, 12) Major water drainage issues on property, 13) Worker even defecated in backyard vs using onsite porta potty. These only scratch the surface! Had to get a lawyer involved at 16 months to try to hold the builder accountable. Finally terminated the contract in July 2019. Builder then listed the property at $129,000 more than the original contracted price. Property closed on April 21, 2020 for $100,000 more than the original contracted price. The team was awesome to deal with and wr couldn't be happier with our home!
