I have been a Roddy's customer for many years and have enjoyed buying flowers for my family who live in town. This weekend, it all changed. I ordered a delivery for Sat before Easter and it was not delivered. When I called several times on Saturday/Sunday/Monday I was told that it was delivered and treated like my family was senile and just didn't know it because their delivery driver indicated he delivered it - mistake #1. Finally after I continued to insist that they were not received, an offer was made to redeliver the flowers/candy. The entire time I was made to feel that their error was my fault - mistake #2. So I credit them for making it right and after debate redelivering the order. Later today, a neighbor at a different address who had been out of town called to say that unfortunately the delivery had been made to their house (wrong address - mistake #3) and was brought in by the housekeeper, confirming their delivery error. I called and offered for Roddy's to retrieve the original delivery. Morale of the story, treat your customers like customers or you won't have any. I probably have spent at least a thousand dollars there on flowers, but guess what, I will be taking my business somewhere else. And when I called to explain it all, I expected an apology and instead got a pretty rude response again!
