I recently purchased a used truck from Penske and had a terrible experience. After only one week, the check engine light came on and I scheduled an appointment with Penske to have it checked out. They diagnosed the truck and found many codes, including an ABS sensor cargo wiring problem and back lights wiring issues. Instead of fixing the problem, they simply reset the codes and told me everything was fixed. However, the check engine light came on again shortly after. When I took it back to Penske, they told me that because the 15-day warranty had passed, I would have to take the truck to my own shop and send them the bill. It took three weeks for them to review the invoice and they left me with a $3,000 bill. Throughout the process, I dealt with Zachary Eberly, who was completely unhelpful and wasted my time.
Overall, I would not recommend buying a used truck from Penske. Their service was slow and unprofessional, and they did not stand behind their product. If you're considering buying a used truck from them, I would advise you to take it to a mechanic before making your purchase.
