This is not a friendly company to work with. They have a slick marketing deck and presentation but they use high pressure sales tactics to get your commitment. Expect the “this price is only available today” pitch. The advertisement comes with a ton of caveats, some stated, some unstated. Buyer beware. We were lured in by the 10x10 kitchen remodel for $10,000. Our kitchen is 10x14 and that starts the pricing to be 40% more. Costs only go up from there. Remodeling a kitchen is a highly custom job and I expect there to be unplanned changes required at some point. God forbids this happens to you that you need a change, their ‘change pricing’ is egregious and predatory. Once the project starts, they think they have you locked in and charge astronomical amounts for any changes. We needed taller cabinets in our example. The fair cost increase should be 10-20% on the price of the wall cabinet materials, I thought that was included as part of their promo advertisement but more on that later. Based on my research this change should have increased total project costs by <3%. They charged us a 17% increase on the total cost of the project, 6X the fair price increase on the cabinets! I wanted to see the original promotional ad, I did not remember seeing any price difference regarding taller or shorter cabinets in their 10x10 kitchen promo. They could or would not provide me the ad. Then I asked for the contract we signed, they claimed to have left us a copy but I don’t have it. Eventually they sent a one page picture of the contract. I asked for the full contract but they just kept pointing me back at the one page. I no longer felt comfortable with the company and wanted to cancel the project. To date only demo was completed, that was two workers at the house for two hours. I offered to pay for the demo but Caroline, a project coordinator there (who also has poor reviews on the internet), threatened me with a lawsuit, placing a lien on the house, and ruining my credit – or I could pay an $8,000 cancellation fee. All over the top aggressive scare tactics that were totally unwarranted. Caroline claims to have ordered cabinets and wants to charge us for them. I am not sure how/why she did that because we never approved final floor plans and I told her to place everything on hold when she told me earlier that she still had yet to place the order. I am thoroughly disappointed in this company, felt that we were misled, and appalled by how they handle their customer disputes. Read the other bad reviews, becareful when dealing with this company, I wish I never met them.
