I don't write reviews often, if ever, but my wife and I could not be more satisfied with Parkside Animal Hospital and we want to share how incredibly special this place is. Our dog Drake was a rescue that I adopted from ARPO, and I've raised him since he was a little pup. His records were transferred to Parkside, and he's been going there since. Drake came down with a crazy condition, that was eventually diagnosed as chronic rhinitis. Through all of the testing, X-Rays, CT scans, etc. the doctors and the staff were tremendous. The care, compassion, and expertise they display when working with their clients is world class. Dr. Johnson, the owner, is AMAZING. He speaks to you with authenticity, with transparency, and in a way that makes sense (i.e. doesn't throw a book of medical lingo at you that is hard to understand). He takes his time, and always makes sure you are aligned with his recommendations/treatment. I have to believe that Dr. Johnson leads by example, because his staff is so incredible as well. Our Drake passed on October 30th. Dr. Johnson, and Jessica (technician) were gracious enough to meet us after hours that day for us to say goodbye to our dog. Jessica called us on her day off to discuss after care options. Dr. Johnson went out of his way to ensure our family knew his clinic was there for us as we were grieving. To summarize, Parkside is by far the best clinic around, in every facet. We will be clients for life (for our other dog, Lucy, and any future fur babies). I would recommend this clinic to anyone that is searching for the best possible care for their pets!
