Dr. Omar Maniya received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Georgetown University, before earning a master’s in business administration at Harvard Business School. He then moved to his dream home of New York City, where he completed his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Maniya is passionate about improving healthcare delivery to patients, and believes that there are lessons to be learned from the COVID-19 pandemic on how to do so. As a resident he was president of the Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association, an ACEP committee member, and as a Trustee of the American Medical Association.
