Absolutely HORRIBLE experience, 0 stars if I could. I went in for a cut and a color with Dana and showed him pictures of the blonde highlights and layers I wanted and had previously had done elsewhere. The highlights from my previous stylist were still visible and he said he could do it no problem. After leaving the foils in for a short while he rinsed half of my hair then the rest of it a few minutes later. He barely trimmed my hair (figured maybe he would do the rest when it was dry--as some stylist do) and then began drying it. Immediately it was obvious that he hadn't left the foils in long enough as the color of my hair was barely lifted and there were even lowlights put in which I had not asked for. Before I had the chance to say anything he apologized and said he wanted me to come back in in a few days for a fix because he knew he hadn't done it right. He still charged me the $180 but said the fix would be free because, again, he knew he messed up. After leaving the salon I was really uncomfortable having him do my hair again and called to speak with owner, Jaye, to see if she would do it instead. She had said that she was there when it happened and overheard the conversation/ saw the result and said she had time-- but to email her pictures "to see if she was able to do it". I sent the email with pictures of what mine had looked like previously after being done and never ever heard back from the salon. A few days later I called and said I just wanted the $180 back after my overall experience and the lack of confidence/lack of response from the owner that she could even fix it. The staff was rude and condescending and denied any wrongdoing even though it was THEIR stylist who admitted to messing up and insisted on me coming back in. I'm never one to write reviews but after this overall experience I feel compelled to not let anyone else have this happen to them. These are difficult times financially for all of us during COVID and to spend almost $200 on something and then not only get what you asked for and were promised--but then treated so poorly is just not right. Do NOT go to this salon.
