My OBGYN who is leaving NS referred Dr. Herman. This was after I had to report Dr. Joshua Straus to the medical board, due to the fact that I confronted him about ripping me off my meds, attempting to change every single one, and told me that he has “more important patients who are suicidal to deal with, and he does not know why I am calling him, and that if I felt that he put me in harms way to report me to the medical board”. I did. This was July of 2023. I called on January 16, 2024 to have a change of care, the receptionist just told me that it could take up to three weeks. I then got a message on NS connect to fill out the BH form again, and that someone would call me in five days for placement. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I got a phone call the next day asking for reasoning of change, and I stated unprofessionalism. I explained what happened, and that I did NOT want to get black-listed due to what Straus did to me. Of course, she says “we don’t do that” and informed me that the supervisor of the department would call me back. Jessica called me a week later. She did not ask me about my story, all the she told me was that they can usually handle “these things” on a lower level. I told her to listen to the phone call from July, and him literally instructing me to report him to the medical board. Then, she proceeded to defend him, telling me that his placements are normally “accurate”. Again, I told her that I did NOT want to get black listed to do what Straus did, I explained I already had the referral from my OBGYN and she stated that she would even message her one my behalf. Jessica informed me that my doctor did not message Dr. Herman and that she does not take new patients, but she is sure someone will call me back in a “few days”, and that “I could already be on the scheduling list for a call back” (how would she not definitively know this as the supervisor of the department). She also stated that Straus could have already “spoken to the other doctor”, and I proceeded to ask her isn’t that a violation of HIPPA? She did not answer my question, and then I asked why should I be punished by your department for what he did to me? And it seems odd that the supervisor of the department would have no clue what was going on, when in reality she just didn’t want to tell me that they were not going to place me. So, if I would not have told them that I reported Straus to the Board-as directed, they would have placed me no problem? I have no idea because exactly what their department claims they “don’t do” they did. I was blacklisted, and then they didn’t even have enough respect to tell me this. I have called their department fifteen times, begging if I am not getting placed to at least inform me, and that never happened. You would think after what Straus did, they would want to make this right, but Jessica is just as careless as he is. It is 2/24/2024-WEEKS after attempting to get help and NO ONE CALLED ME TO INFORM ME THAT I WOULD NOT BE PLACED, AND BLACKLISTED. Ironic because 95% of reviews of Straus are negative, and even mimic mine, but not on NS website. Vitals.com, google, etc. is where the less than five-star reviews are, due to the fact NS would never post anything less than that on theirs. I cannot speak for Dr. Herman, due to the fact I will never know what happened with her message, contact, placement. The damage that the NS psychiatric department has caused my physical and emotional health is irreversible. They do not want to help people, they will honestly just ghost you. If you care about your health, I advise you to not attempt to reach out to NS or now Endeavor Health psychiatric department.
