Not only is Dr. Ben’s personal experience with orthodontic work extensive, it’s in his blood! His seven greats back grandpa, Alexander Neibaur, was the first dentist in Utah. He settled in Salt Lake City and began helping those in the community to perfect their smiles. He was even responsible for the famous wooden dentures worn by Brigham Young. In the past seven generations, dentistry and orthodontics have come a long way! Now, Dr. Ben uses the most advanced technologies to make your orthodontic work faster and more comfortable than ever. Over the course of his work, Dr. Ben has earned: Bachelors of Bio Statistics from Brigham Young University Doctorate of Dental Medicine – Case Western Reserve University Orthodontic Residency at Vanderbilt University Specialist of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics Dr. Ben was honored with his appointment of Chief Resident at Vanderbilt University. He helped oversee all treatment planning and diagnosis for his fellow residents and their patients. He regularly pursues continuing education, including participation in orthodontic study groups with leading orthodontists across the nation, where they discuss treatment plans and orthodontic complexities. Dr. Ben is also a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and happy to be on a team of 5 medical specialists for the Craniofacial Foundation of Utah. This team is comprised of oral surgeons, plastic surgeons, and orthodontists. They donate their time and expertise to serve patients with broken palates and carniofacial deformities. Dr. Ben enjoys spending time with his wife Holly and their seven boys. They enjoy the great outdoors, travelling, and chasing their boys around to all of their sporting events. Dr. Ben and Holly are passionate about education and enjoy supporting students and being active in their local schools. They enjoy hosting big family events in their home. ‘The More, The Merrier” is almost as fitting a slogan as the one that hangs in their basement which reads; “Some call it chaos, we call it family.”
