The absolute worst, incompetent, unreliable, unprofessional, unfit and unskilled moving company ever! This useless moving company was sprung on me by default! I origianlly had my contract with 3 brothers which unbeknownst to me contracted this horiffic company (moving depot) to pick up my belongings. When they arrived I was shocked like who are you all,and upset but I need my belongings needed to be moved ASAP from indiana to north carolina because I havd already been waiting weeks to be moved, I already signed a contract and paid. They charged me and extra 371.00 stating my items were over weight. That was the first disappointment because it was B.S. and their way of getting more money. They didnt have a scale. Plus i sold most items I listed to be moved such as my bed, mattresses, dining table and chairs. Then they packaged the big items which included a 55in an 75in tv, tv consolde, desk and chair, dresser, two nightstands, and two standing tall leaning mirrors. I packedged all of my clothes, shoes, kichtenware, and household accessories. Now in my contract I paid extra because the delivery address had stairs. And the contract that I have and they have cleary states that. So when my items arrived LATE they charged me an extra 175 for stairs or they wouldn't unload the truck...mind you this is a whole other company called america's best movers, here comes more B.S. I called SHERRI at the office and she acknowledged I paid for stairs but now this is thier fee! What a complete joke! Then and the movers unpacked all the items that the company (moving depot) packeged up upon departure from Indiana. Two broken tv's, dented and scratched up dresser, broken desk, broken tv console, one missing standing tall mirror, and 4 missing boxes! Americas best movers stated they recieved my items like this, and they noticed i was 4 boxes short...everyone put the blam on each other...but my contract was with moving depot not americas best movers so I followed up with moving depot. And this despicable company wants to settle for 100.00. What a joke. A bunch of clowns who will only change their name and phone number every couple of months or years to stay in some sort of business. I spoke with the so called rude owner and Sherri and honstley they are all a joke. Keep the 100.00...trust me I will get whats owed to me. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. DONT FALL FOR THE LOWER RATES, THEY WILL ADD ON FEES ONCE THEY PICK UP YOUR ITEMS FOR ANY REASON!

Worst possible experience of my life. Almost all of my items were damaged. No one was helpful when I stated my delivery and elevator timeframe on every phone interaction. My items were held for 7 days, and company would not tell me where. My dresser and nightstand had been searched through. I had meds in my nightstand and when that was delivered, the bottle was under the drawer, clearly the nightstand had been flipped around. The manager was insanely rude. The company was to deliver my things within 24 hours of finding out I had left meds in my nightstand, and she flat out said that the dispatching company didn't notify them "because guess what, they don't care." They had young kids deliver my things and they didn't give me paperwork or go through the delivery inventory, so the company refused any reimbursement. Save yourself the headache and stay away.. they don't even deserve one star for a rating. Read the BBB reviews on this place.

Moving Depot USA - HORRIBLE COMPANY -DO NOT USE THEM! They double charged us, were unprofessional, took over 2 weeks to receive my items when it took only 3 days to drive the distance. I have items missing and no one is looking for them, I received a box that is not mine and they are not trying to get it to the rightful owner - I have broken items too. Moving Depot is the most unprofessional company I've ever seen in my 53 years of life. I used Consumer Advocate to find these companies and they were HORRIBLE. My advice is to move yourself and stay away from moving companies.

Loaded carefully on truck on time. Great work, these guys moved entire house so quickly. I'd highly recommend them for moves.

DO NOT EVER CONSIDER USING THIS COMPANY. This was the worst moving experience I've ever had. First of all, I specified a service that guaranteed delivery date and that never happened, so I ended up paying an extra $2000 in hotel charges while waiting for my furniture to show up for 10 days, which was half of the cost of the move itself. I could've just bought all new furniture. Then, when it finally arrived, several large items either damaged or straight up missing due to lack of care in the packing and transport process. I've had 4 interstate moves in the past 7 years, and it is the first time I've experienced anything like this.

The team who showed up to my Illinois house seemed fine but communication from then on was poor. I called twice a week for two weeks asking for a delivery date and was never given one. I woke up to a phone call on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2020 to a phone call saying the moving team was five minutes away from our Texas condo. We never received an email or phone call with a delivery date and had to scramble at 7 am to get ready for our furniture. Once the furniture was delivered it was discovered by the movers that the legs and drawers on my antique desk were broken off and my antique piano bench was shattered beyond repair. Three boxes of kitchen items were never delivered and our five foot family Portrait that was professionally mounted and framed was completely gone. I am still fighting this company to find my items. Finally, to add insult to our experience the driver came back after delivery stating we owed an additional $700 for the transfer of our items from a semi to a box truck. This charge was never discussed and we refused to pay it. He came back three times and pressured us while I was crying uncontrollably over the broken antiques and loss of a precious family portrait. We complained to the company and were told “after their investigation” that the extra $700 was a “mistake” on their part as our items were never transferred from a semi to a box truck. I have received no help locating my items and no offer of compensation. DON’T USE THIS COMPANY EVER!

I am only giving a 2 because the pick-up part of my move went okay. There has been no other communication generated from the company. It takes multiple calls and emails to reach "Kay" who is rude, unhelpful, and disdainful. She gives the total sense that she could care less. In the mean-time my belongings haven't been shipped and its been 30 days since they were picked up from my home. Its not over yet, but so far, a horrific experience.

ZERO STARS. We moved cross-country with Moving Depot. The order took 3 weeks to arrive, with poor customer service in between. We are missing 7 items of substantial value, and had 3 items damaged to the point of not being usable. We also received items not belonging to us, which I noticed after I fortunately opened up the box. When I said this to the L.A.-based mover from Professional Moving Company who unloaded our items from the truck, he said that this mix-up of people's belongings "has happened during our last few moves." I asked them to remove the items, and when doing so they also took an item that did belong to me - but it was broken (a glass table top to a coffee table). I caught this as he was bringing the item to the truck, and fear he was taking it because he did not want me to see it had broken. The mover also stated that many items had been broken during their last few moves. The movers were also unwilling to dissemble our couch (it comes apart into two pieces, we have moved with it several times), and therefore did not bring it into our apartment. They instead told me I'd have to leave it on the sidewalk to sell it. We reached a compromise to put it in the driveway, but now I will need to hire another mover to bring up the couch. When I complained about the service, the movers would not let me replace the cash I had given them with a cashier's check. I was told I still had to pay the full amount, even though I did not receive many of my most valuable items and the couch was not brought to the apartment. They offered no recourse, saying I'd have to bring it up to dispatch. They also made a racist comment about the workers from dispatch, which I found offensive. Missing items: large wood dining room table, half of our wood entertainment system, large flat screen TV, Peloton bicycle, king-sized mattress, guitar Damaged items: Stainless steel trash can, glass top for a side table, serving bowl
