Mike has served as president of the Washington Realtors (2004) and as a regional Vice-president of the National Association of Realtors (2008). He was one of the principal architects of the Realtor's Quality Of Life Program, an advocacy program based in policy, politics and public opinion aimed at better and sustainable community development.
Mike has presented the Quality Of Life program across America and Canada. He chaired NAR's Smart Growth Program Advisory while it developed the all new NAR Smart Growth Class and is a certified instructor for that class.
Mike Flynn's background includes 26 years in residential real estate sales and investment counseling (multi-family investment practice). His is a counseling practice, unusual in today's world. Mike helps Clients figure out what they want to do and then develops plans that produce terrific results.
Mike also has 9 years experience in commercial site acquisition, development and project management.
In the civic arena, Mike served a four-year appointment to the Puget Sound Regional Council Transportation Policy Board and currently serves on the PSRC Growth Management Policy Board. He chaired the Transfer of Development Rights Policy Advisory Committee under WA DCTED. Mike also served three years as Trustee for the Washington Center for Real Estate Research.
