Began an application for an apartment in Allston, never finished the application process - was pressured by the realtor to put down a deposit, they took the money, got a job offer out of state and (2 months out from move in date) now they are refusing to refund my money. 2000 bucks is a pretty damned expensive application fee. Seems like a racket preying on recent college grads, buyer beware.
