Meg has a master’s degree in public health from Columbia University with a focus on sexuality, sexual and reproductive health. Her master’s thesis on the positive impact of continuous labor support motivated her to pursue her training as a birth doula. Meg believes birth is a transformative, intimate and unparalleled experience for a person and the journey one takes to get there is uniquely theirs. Her philosophy as a doula is to provide unconditional, unwavering, compassionate and non-judgmental support to families throughout pregnancy and childbirth. Meg recently received her DONA International birth training in Brooklyn, N.Y., with Rina Crane and her lactation education training from Evergreen Perinatal Education. Presently, she is a teaching assistant for Penny Simkin through Great Starts and enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking and photography. Rate: $1600
