Dr. Kolthoff specializes in genetic problems related to the fetus or the mother during pregnancy. She is skilled in performing chorionic villus sampling (CVS), amniocentesis, and fetal ultrasounds. A trained bioethicist, she received her master’s degree in this specialty from the University of Pittsburgh.
She is clinically interested in perinatal palliative care, perinatal loss, and bereavement, and serves as director of the Olivia’s Angels Perinatal Palliative Care Program at Allegheny Health Network.
She received the Pittsburgh Business Times Health Care Hero Award in 2018. She speaks English.
