In 1975, founder Bruce Marchant started Marchant's School Sport as a wholesaler of sporting apparel with only one employee. Today, with nearly 50 employees and over 32,000 square feet of warehouse and showroom space, Marchant's has expanded their business lines to include, school uniforms, corporate wear, screen printing, and embroidery for schools, sports leagues and corporate clients. Additionally, Marchant's distributes physical education equipment from baseball gloves and basketball nets to scoreboards and megaphones. All products are sold both through a group of sales representatives in Manitoba and Ontario and a catalogue sales business that extends their coverage into the Maritime Provinces and the Northwest Territories. For over 35 years, Marchant's School Sport has serviced athletes of all ages.
