Main Street Small Animal Hospital opened in 1988, when Dan Blake moved to the area to practice viticulture and veterinary medicine. He purchased an old house at the end of main street and began converting it into a veterinary hospital.Back then, Templeton had about 500 residents and there wasn't much happening on Main Street beyond Hewitt's Hardware and the Feed and Grain store. As the area grew, our hospital developed a countywide reputation for providing compassionate care and practical advice at affordable prices.
