Today was the first day I picked up my meds with no problem and have them to take on time. This was possible because I no longer have an attorney. I have been through 3 attorneys in this law firm. First it was Tichy, Michael Jansen then Phenix. Long story short They were able to get a release from the court removing themselves from my case. They filed a fee lien against my case so they can get paid. So, they jumped off with their hand reaching back to get paid. Now, we are nowhere near being done with the case. I attempted to get Cal fresh and SSI wanted proof of income the number of monies I receive now is not much. I found out when workman's Comp came back into my life about a year later to make good. My attorney Michael Jansen asked and receive 15% of all monies due me $40,000. plus, dollars. I am now short in my SSI account which I will need this January 2022 and monies due to my family was also short. I have a brain injury and suffer much every day. I have learned much so do not see only one attorney but see at least 5 to be interview, relax you do not need an attorney right away. Look for attorneys with 5 stars only. Research each attorney go to all the reviews and type there name in and search have they had their license pulled and so on. If any of the attorneys have a low review and it’s about money. Walk away there are hundreds of attorneys out there. For me I have a backup attorney only if I need one. My trust and faith in attorneys I have lost. I put my life in their hands look where it got me. Be very careful.
