King’s Barbecue was established on December 20, 1946 by brothers John W. King and Clinton King. Located in the historic city of Petersburg, we are one of the oldest family-owned BBQ restaurants in the state of Virginia. Our mission has always been to provide simple, home cooked, quality food everyday in a family-friendly atmosphere. We use the freshest meats that are slow-cooked over oak wood, make homemade items from scratch, and continue to use our family’s perfected sauce recipe to create our unique brand of BBQ.
