Dr. John Pilavas is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist serving patients throughout the Astoria, New York area. He specializes in the medical and surgical management of several optical disorders, and he also performs bladeless LASIK and PRK using the VISX® and Wavelight® excimer laser platforms. Dr. Pilavas serves as a voluntary attending at Nassau University Medical Center, where he teaches residents about diagnosing and treating Cornea/External Disease.
