Jaspreet Sidhu, DO, believes in educating patients about their condition, including them as an integral part of decision making, and providing compassionate care to all his patients at San Joaquin Hip & Knee in Stockton, California. Dr. Sidhu is an orthopedic surgeon who treats a broad range of musculoskeletal problems, with a special interest in complex fracture care, total knee replacement, the anterior approach to total hip replacement, and revision surgery of the hip and knee.
Dr. Sidhu considers himself a native of Central California. His family immigrated to Turlock, California, from India in 1995, and they’ve since relocated to Elk Grove, California. He graduated from the University of California, Davis with an undergraduate degree in neurobiology, physiology, and behavior.
He then entered medical school at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California, and after graduating, completed his orthopedic residency training at Pinnacle Health System in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
During his residency, Dr. Sidhu developed a special interest in adult reconstruction and trauma. To pursue his interests, he completed an additional year of specialized training as an adult reconstruction fellow and a trauma fellow at the University of Minnesota, Regions Hospital, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He’s proud to call two renowned professionals in the field, Dr. Scott Marston and Dr. Peter Cole, his mentors.
Dr. Sidhu is an active member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He’s also a board-eligible diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He’s associated with St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton.
Dr. Sidhu is very happy to be back at home, where he looks forward to providing orthopedic care to the community.
