Jaikrishnan R. Kakanar, DDS
Jaikrishnan R. Kakanar, DDS, affectionately known by his patients as Dr. Jai Kakanar, is a cosmetic and family dentist with his own private practice in Burbank, California.
Dr. Kakanar graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from his school in India in 1988. Later, he was accepted into the accelerated dental program at Loma Linda University and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1995. He practiced until the end of 1998 as an associate dentist in Riverside and Orange County. In 1999, he started his own practice in Glendale. From 2006 to 2013, he maintained a second practice in Upland, California – UPLAND SMILES.
As a skilled cosmetic and family dentist, he treats adults, teens, and children in many capacities, ranging from cosmetic dentistry to dental restorations like crowns, bridges, and implants. He believes that, with advances in dental techniques, there is no reason why most people should not be able to keep their natural teeth for their whole life. His goal is to work with you to achieve this. Dr. Kakanar and his team believe in taking time to get to know each patient and providing quality dental treatments in a caring and gentle manner.
His office is committed to staying abreast of the latest technology through regular training by participating in continuing education programs. Amongst the services provided are the replacement of worn-out fillings and teeth with ceramic fillings, crowns, Invisalign®, Fastbraces®, Snap-on-Smile®, teeth whitening, and implant restorations.
Dr. Jai Kakanar is a member of the American Dental Association®, California Dental Association, San Fernando Valley Dental Society, Glendale, and is a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International.
