So I have tried to give Dr Palmer’s staff the benefit of the doubt, but again this week they have failed her. My 85 yo mother tested positive for Covid on Tuesday. We called and also sent a message through FMH asking someone to call her and advise her what to do and asking if they would prescribe paxlovid as she is high risk. Instead of calling, she gets a message on FMH at 5pm today asking for more information. This means now it will be another day before anything can be done, which will then put her past the effective start date for the drug. At what point is this not ok? My mother has gone to this doctors office for decades, and does not want to change at her age. What can be done?
