My ankle
As far back as 2010 & probably before my right ankle had been giving me problems. It would get sore. People would ask me why I was limping. I didn’t have an answer. I’d tell them about falling off horses, getting hit by a car, marching in the service, just living for over 50 years. I went to three different podiatrists. They each offered to fuse my ankle saying there was some spacing missing between some bones.
I couldn’t put my toes or the ball of my foot down when I walked, just my heal & the outside edge of my foot. I couldn’t stand on my toes. I could only wear flat shoes. When I would force my big toe down onto the floor, it would pop 10 times. As soon as I lifted my foot it would go back to the old position. I’d have to really push my toes down taking a long time. It was like I was developing a club foot.
One day a woman I worked with suggested I go to her chiropractor, Derrick Stanbridge. I decided to give him a try.
He adjusted my back, legs, ankles & toes. It hurt like crazy while he manipulated my foot & ankle but felt really good for awhile afterwards. At first I would get adjustments 2-3 times a week, then it was once a week, then every two weeks. Now I can go a month or more between adjustments.
I don’t usually limp anymore unless I’ve been doing a lot of walking. My foot doesn’t freeze up from driving for hours at a time. I can even stand on my toes!
Thank you Dr Stanbridge.
