I have a broken tibia right below the knee, I was in a extreme amount of pain in my knee, they told me that there was blood, swelling and pressure in my knee, they gave me 2mg. Of morphine which did absolutely nothing for the pain, after suffering all night, the Orthopedic doctor came in the next morning and ordered an anti inflammatory medication which is what I needed to relieve swelling, pressure and pain, I never received that medication, later in the afternoon I requested to see the hospital doctor, he ordered the same anti inflammatory and I never received that! Was in so much pain I could not stand it! The next thing that I know they are discharging me to go home!! I told them that there is nobody at home during the day to help me do the things that I need to do! I can’t go home, they did not try to help me get into a ortho rehab or anything! They discharged me in a wheelchair with non moving splint which makes my leg stick straight out, no way that I could get around at home by myself, called an ambulance from the front of Halifax and had them take me to fish memorial in orange city, which is where I should have gone instead of Halifax in Deltona, seen a doctor at fish within a half an hour, who emedietly ordered torodol, an anti enflametory medication that emediatly relieved pressure and pain in my knee, the next day they got me into Debary orthopedic rehab which is where I currently am doing great. Don’t ever go to Halifax health in Deltona Florida for anything!!!
