Our History
It has been my great honor to represent Gray’s Paint for over 30 years. We began with a small store in Redwood City, CA. We are a family owned and family run business; my father and I work every day in each of our stores. We currently have four stores on the Peninsula. We have never closed a store or laid-off an employee. One of our store mantras is simply this: “Without our customers, we needn’t exist”. It is this philosophy which has driven our business for over 30 years.
Community Spirit
Our families, and most of the families of my employees, live locally. Collectively, our stores support/sponsor, over a dozen children’s sport teams, including Little League teams, girls’ softball teams, volleyball teams, several Troops from the Boy Scouts of America, and the Girl Scouts of America. We also provide paint donations to many of the local public schools, in need, in the area.
Environment
Gray’s Paint has an obligation and serious commitment to caring for the environment. We have programs in place to recycle 100% of our paper, cardboard, and recyclable plastics. Our Burlingame location is a registered PaintCare Drop-off site where consumers can drop off old, unused paint for recycling. We fully support, and abide by all local, regional, state and federal laws in terms of product compliancy. Our stores’ coating portfolio/offering is thoughtfully and carefully managed to reduce our industry’s carbon footprint, as well as, minimizing impact to the ozone layer.
Relationship with Benjamin Moore (a Berkshire Hathaway Co.)
For over 30 years we have proudly maintained a full line of paints and stains from our main supplier, Benjamin Moore. We are currently ranked as one of Benjamin Moore’s top 30 stores in the nation. Our relationship with Benjamin Moore remains strong and mutually beneficial, based on mutual respect and support.
We hope you will take the opportunity to visit one of our stores in the future. .....Best Paint, Best Advice, Gray's Paint!
