I do not recommend these not so Good Guys. I am a senior and if what they did to me is how they treat older people I feel they should not get our business. I was having problems with my heating system and wanted to get it fixed. They came out and checked my system and told me two parts were bad and had to be replaced. They gave me an estimate on a blank piece of paper (I saved that paper) with no company name and they did not sign it. I had someone else check the system and only one of the two parts was bad. The part that was bad the Good Guys said it cost over $1000, but when I checked on line I found a retail price of $120 with free shipping and I ordered it. I believe they think because I am older that makes me stupid. I also found out they have not been in my area very long. I do not recommend these people I do not believe they are honest. To me these HVAC companies seem to take advantage when your need is at its greatest. I have checked into other systems but it cost between $15,000 to $20,000 to replace a heat pump when a new top of the line heat pump only cost about $5,000. It looks to me that these companies are charging more than $1,000 an hour to replace a system. I found a lot of information on pickhvac.com and webhvac.com.
