AFTER LIVING WITH THE WORK DONE BY VASYL AND HIS COMPANY, I GO INTO MY ATTIC TO FIND LIVE ELECTRIC WIRES FROM PREVIOUS POWER VENT FAN CUT AND LEFT WITH NEW WIRES FOR POWER VENT I PAID FOR WHICH WAS IN MY CONTRACT HANGING (see picture). ONTOP OF THAT I HAD 3 leaks over the winter, which wouldn’t be expected on a 6 month old complete roof replacement. I also understand that we had a larger than usual amount of snow this year but per the contract everything was suppose to be done in a workman like manner per the contract. When I called Vasyl/text he tells me, check your contract I only install, mind you contract states replace, in my experience if someone is going to say they are going to “REPLACE IF NECESSARY” then when they replace it they leave live wires above my 3 year olds bedroom, and not even tell me, hey you need to get someone to hook that up. I had a spray foam insulation company come out to give an estimate because it seemed to be very hot last year but we didn’t know if that was normal or not due to buying the house 30 days before he changed the roof. While up there that’s when spray foam guys said before we do anything that wire needs to be addressed. experience with Vasyl was great start to finish. I actually own my own construction company but don’t specialize in James Hardie Panel siding. He showed me many jobs that he has previously completed and seemed legit. For the most part the job turned out looking good many compliments from neighbors but when there is a problem, that 5 year warranty he offers is garbage which I needed to use in less than 6 months, which he sent the siding guy to finish canyoning that never got done in first place, and gutters leak in multiple areas which he sent his gutter guys to fix while raining which needless to say didn’t work. Unless you are getting a price from him 20% or more less than the next guy not worth it, pay more money and go with someone who will fix things that go wrong or are not finished, otherwise you spend more than that fixing his issues.
