An Interior Design professional since 1992, Susan Gailani’s passion for beautiful textiles helped her focus her talent on the window covering industry. She has worked on residential and commercial window treatment projects displaying unique and elegant designs. Susan Gailani is continuously updating her knowledge by attending classes to stay abreast of the rapidly changing interior design industry. She is widely traveled nationally and abroad, visiting museums, historic buildings, and local art galleries,expanding her design inspirations and learning experiences. Susan’s travels have taken her to: Canada, Mexico, France and the French Riviera, England, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Italy and the Vatican, Malta, Turkey, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Jerusalem, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iraq, the place of her birth. Along the way, Susan discovered design elements from these destinations that she later incorporates into her luxurious interior designs. Her passion for art and creativity encourages her studies, so that she can implement her knowledge to provide the highest quality home interior designs. Susan obtained her BFA in Interior Design from the California College of the Arts and has two years of graduate work in the field. Susan holds certifications from Window Covering Association of America and Window Fashions and is also certified as a Real Estate Stager/Enhancer. It is Susan’s philosophy that everyone deserves to live in an environment that makes them happy. She will create unique designs specific to the needs of her unique clients. She’ll turn a house into a home and a home into a sanctuary. Clients can think of Susan as their homes’ therapist. Many people fear using an interior designer for their home because they feel that the interior designer will impose his or her own opinions on the style. This is not the case with Susan. She listens to all the clients’ needs, including the financial, and presents options for them to choose from. It is their home, so their opinion is of utmost importance.
