I had the pleasure of working with Chiefs Johns, Freddie, Gaffney, and Beesley. They were all very knowledgeable of every aspect of the testing process. They were able to pinpoint the issues I was having and gave me the tools to correct the issues so they didn't happen on test day. This is the second time I used Fire Assessment Center Prep. The first time was for the captain's test and I scored #1. The second time was for the battalion chief's test and I scored #2. I purchased the Chiefs Special and was very pleased with the video courses and related documents. I will say some videos had repetitive content, but I can understand this as some of these courses are purchased separately or as part of other packages. I also purchased coaching sessions, my coach was Chief Fitzgerald and he was absolutely fantastic. Diving deep into what he was seeing and hearing from me in my management and tactical scenarios . Giving very specific areas to work on, and excellent advice. All while maintaining my confidence when at times I felt I was not performing to what Im capable of. I feel this experience has made me a better Company Officer. And Im confident that if I employ what Ive learned coupled with my knowledge, skills, abilities, time and experience that I will be successful not only in my promotional process but as a new BC. Thank you Chief Fitzgerald, Freddie and the rest of the team.

Very insightful in providing the needed information and expertise regarding assessment centers

This was my first time going through any testing process. I didn’t know how to prepare in the beginning but this program offered everything that I needed in a clear and concise manner. I did not use any coaching but the videos made it easy to understand and the PowerPoints were great reference material. I tested FIRST on the Lieutenants exam for my full-time department and recently got promoted. I would highly recommend this program to anyone.

I had the great pleasure of working with Chief Freddie Fernandez. I did my research and there are dozens of promotional preparation companies out there but I can say after working with him I choose the best one. It was definitely a great investment in my future scoring number 1 on the exam. As soon as I signed up Chief Fernandez contacted me scheduled the coaching sessions and gave me a plan of action. His videos gave me a great foundation to build upon in conjunction with the one on one training and coaching. Chief Fernandez took me step by step through the in-basket and scenario-based interview process. He allowed me to practice it just like my assessment would be and provided me with so much great feedback. Every coaching session we had I learned something new. I felt confident and felt as those I did everything I could have done to prepare for the assessment. I highly recommend working with Chief Fernandez if you want to feel confident on test day and not only get promoted but score as high as possible.

The video presentations gave important and relevant information that considerably helped me in all the fields that I am being tested on. I was struggling with the subordinate issues, the videos coupled with one on one time with Chief John’s has me feeling much more comfortable and prepared.

This class was extremely helpful. Chief Fernandez truly knows his stuff and is the best in the business for a reason. I would recommend this class to any and all seeking to be the best candidate they can be in an assessment center.

Chief Freddy reached out to me immediately after I had filled out the consultation. I had Chief Beesley as my coach, he was perfect. He explained to me all the important things I needed to do or say for my scenarios. I would absolutely use them again. If I didn't take this class, I'd have no clue what I was doing.
