Dr. Chris Kates, FAGD, FICOI
Dr. Kates attended Texas A&M University prior to graduating from Baylor College of Dentistry (now Texas A&M College of Dentistry), where he received the distinguished General Dentistry Program Award. Dr. Kates continues to expand his dental expertise by completing over 1,100 hours of continuing education to date. Whether is is a simple restoration or a complex full-mouth reconstruction, Dr. Kates and his team take each procedure to the highest standards available today.
Dr. Kates is an active member of the Dental Excellence Advancement and Learning Study Club, the American and Florida Dental Association and the Atlantic Coast Dental Association. He has earned Fellowship status in both the Academy of General Dentistry and International Congress of Oral Implantologists, reflecting his continued training and experience with the latest advancements dentistry has to offer. He received much of his surgical implant training with Dr. Carl Misch, considered by many to be the “Godfather of implant dentistry”.
Dr. Kates is a highly decorated Desert Storm veteran who proudly served nine years for our great country in the United States Navy. He enjoys the outdoors with his wife, Angela and their two daughters, Kireina and Maia.
