07/04/2024: I just don't know where to start, well first of all I feel blessed. Every time I look down at my 67 yr old feet I know I'm standing because of him. There are not a lot of Drs that I call Healer, only a handful comes to mind, Dr. Lilja is one of those, a true white coat. When he walks into the Suite/Surgical, a quiet comes over the suite, Respect, Professionalism, I'm an empath, I feel it and as an ex captain of many sports, I want Coach in the Room w/me, Guiding. When he comes to help me you just feel seen. Dr. trusts me to hold perfectly still & @ the same time carefully do upper body ballet moves to distract myself from Lidocaine & cortisone injections. 5 surgeries, 2 on the left, 3 & bone harvest+grapht on the Rt.

01/25/2023: Dr. Lilja is the modern day "Country Doctor," (à la Dr Ceriani) making house calls with a medical bag in his hands and a genuine concern for the patient. His compassionate and comprehensive approach harks back to the age when patients were seen as human beings rather than machines. He always provides excellent recommendations for shoes, preventative measures and treatments. He is by far the best podiatrist I've ever seen. Highly recommended!
