Michael Moawad, DMD, of Dental Arts of Hoboken in Hoboken, New Jersey, is a board-certified general dentist and nationally recognized expert in cosmetic dentistry.
He completed his undergraduate degree at Wagner College in Staten Island, New York, where he excelled academically graduating magna cum laude. He then decided to continue his schooling at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, New Jersey, where he received his doctorate of dental medicine. Afterward, he completed his residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey.
Dr. Moawad combines the practice of dentistry with the newest technologies available. He is a certified provider of Invisalign™, an innovative form of orthodontics involving nearly invisible aligners. He has a sedation permit from the state of New Jersey to practice sedation dentistry in addition to being certified to administer Botox.
Ever since he was in school, Dr. Moawad has enjoyed giving back to his community through multiple volunteer programs including educating Newark public school children about the importance of oral care and providing free dental care for them through the American Dental Association’s Give Kids a Smile® program. In addition, he is an active member of his church and community where he tutors high school children in chemistry and math.
