She completed an otolaryngology residency at Michigan State University in Detroit, where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Kieu also completed a highly prestigious fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. In addition to her work at Del Rey Aesthetics Center, Dr. Kieu is an assistant clinical professor of surgical services at Michigan State University.
