5 major lessons: 1) We knew we would invest $250k, lump sum, from my 401(k) using a fixed monthly max payout of $8k, or less for months unlimited, or less with a inflation rider. 2) If we didn't use up to what we had roughly put in, we would get some back to our estate. 3) Despite my prostate cancer, I was accepted, 4) Concierge service to help with LTC later if needed, 5) LTC payback could be twice what we had invested.
