My vehicle has been at this shop for 2 weeks as of today every time I called them between Chris and Fred there has been no update no diagnoses no information they could give me at all. Just yesterday i spoke with Chris who told me “the tech he assigned to my vehicle has been out” and no one else was touching my car so it was sitting there. That he THINKS the tech was gonna be back later that day. With my vehicle already being there for so long with no diagnoses I tossed around the idea of taking it elsewhere if there was no update by the end of the day yesterday. He apologized to me up and down, recognized their fault even told me word for word this was Their “f up”. Chris was more Worried about offering me a ride to work because I’m A dancer (he asked me what I do on a previous call) and joked about how he hasn’t been to my club In a while— RATHER than offering to put a different Tech on my jeep. I asked him the state of my vehicle as I was gonna take it somewhere else HE TOLD ME the engine was out of my vehicle but would be put inside of the vehicle in “a box” so that he “doesn’t Have to charge me for labor to put it back in” his exact words. When I brought my vehicle to them they had me agree to start work on my car via text message for $115/hr plus taxes. They never stated there was an hour minimum. I have the texts to prove that. Today Chris called me To tell me he was charging me for half an hour of “diagnoses fees” and 3 quarts of oil before I towed it. I told him that’s not fair to me because you’ve had my car sitting for 2 weeks without any diagnoses now you wanna charge me a half hour diagnostic fee? Chris specifically told me it would be $85-86 dollars and change. I SWEAR IVE CALLED JUST About EVERY 2-3 days to check for updates and there was NONE and I told Him I would call back because I was gonna Touch base with new Mechanic regarding the engine being out like Chris said. Mechanic requested the engine be put back which is standard. I called them back to request the engine be put back in place so Mechanic would take It. Fred was screaming at me and talking Over me and putting words in my mouth saying my engine Was not out I was lying and where was I getting that information from?? Umm CHRIS. Whyyyy would I just assume and make up that the engine was out how is that beneficial to me? I literally had to raise my voice because he would not let me talk. He tried to tell me That I said my car was there for a month and “I was wrong” because it’s Only been there for two weeks. I NEVER SAID THAT WHEN I SPOKE TO CHRIS I specifically said my vehicle was been there since 2 days after valentines Day which is feb 16th which is 2 weeks tomorrow those were my exact words to him in regards to how long They’ve had it with no diagnoses or nothing.. but they’re just trying to make me out to be a liar. Now when I called back and got disrespected so bad by Fred he told me they were charging me a full hour for diagnoses and 3 quarts of oil. $150 So of course I lost it because now not only have y’all had my vehicle for 2 weeks, every time I called there was no updates no diagnoses, I finally made The decision to move My vehicle elsewhere now they wanna act up and “make me pay for it” literally, I got talked Over and disrespected by Fred, I got Fred calling me a liar based off of “what Chris told him I said” which was all false, I got quoted a half hour for diagnostic fee even tho there was no diagnoses and never anyone working on it - even my warranty company said they called and filed the claim On the 16th or the 18th one of those and they haven’t called since and now they wanna say they’re charging me a full hour and I can’t move my vehicle til it’s paid but none of this is my fault at all! Chris had every excuse in the book as to why no work was being done in my car dental infections, pneumonia etc. Yesterday when Chris was apologizing to me he was more Worried about Offering me a ride to work because he knows I’m a dancer (because he asked Me on a previous call) than to offer to assign another mechanic to my car. These guys are on complete different pages and lying to each other trying to make it seem like their customers are lying then just throwing random prices out there & holding cars & disrespecting customers. I understand diagnosis fees are standard HOWEVER when there has been no diagnoses just excuses as to why they haven’t touched my car this whole time and no updates I should not be held accountable for any fees then. AVOID THIS SHOP I literally Cannot believe what I just experienced at all. I honestly don’t even feel safe with my vehicle being at this shop still while I’m not able to get there because with the way they were disrespecting me - feel as Though they’re definitely the type of mechanics that will do something to my car. I will Definitely Update all Reviews If Magically my car pulls any other codes than what it was before once it gets to the new mechanic.
