I am not one to write reviews. I have probably done a handful in my life. But this purchase was just too expensive and this experience has just been so ridiculous. My husband and I have four children. 11, 10, 6 and 2. Having gone the whole school year in hybrid we can say that since the start of covid life has been quite a challenge as for most people. With such a stressful school year for the kids we wanted to do something fun for them. We came across what we thought was a good deal at Dunham’s. The Coleman’s AT125-EX. We figured covid has us locked at home this would keep the kids entertained. Bought it brand new from the box. Right at unboxing the body had many scratches, what looked like a few peeled off stickers, paint chips all over and the speedometer was all dented up, but whatever that was all cosmetic. We didn’t mind as long as the kids could ride it. So we put it together properly. Did the break in as instructed, recorded the riding hours and did the oil changes as instructed. As soon as we did the second oil change and tuned it up fully, that’s when the problems started. In May when the issues started I was in contact through email with a Coleman representative, who was helpful and ordered the replacement parts I needed. As the list of problems grew the emails stopped coming. I tried calling Coleman powersports and was promised a return call from my representative. But I never received one. I recently called again and got assigned to a new representative, who instead of handling the issue on the phone had me email everything, but still has not gotten back to me. I was also told that I had the option to take it to one of their service centers. So I called Dunham’s who gave me two numbers, one service center said they did not deal with Coleman warranties any longer. The other service center said the atv had more issues that they could take on at the moment (the list of issues has grown since). My husband has worked on cars and such for over half of his life, doing the work is not the issue. The problem is there is just too many issues for my husband to even have time for. And out of the 4 orders we have out for parts only one has come in so far, which we have been able to replace. I was also promised a call from a Coleman powersports supervisor which I never received. These are just some of the issues we have had. -chain constantly popping off which caused the chain cover to break. -Sprocket on the transmission drive shaft is lose. -Stalls out very often. -Does not always click into gear. -Speedometer does not show gas gauge. -Muffler snapped off. -The bolt that holds the chain over case broke into the mount. -Engine mount screw broke into the engine block. -Kill switch stopped working. -Chain completely broke. -After kill switch stopped working the only way to turn the atv on was by disconnecting it. -Speedometer completely stopped working That isn’t even the whole list of issues. We are at the point where we cannot even drive the atv anymore because the chain completely broke. I am not getting any response emails or phone calls to help get the issue resolved. Most of the parts that were ordered have still not come in. And I cannot find a service center that will work under their warranty. My son is about to be out of summer school so we had planned on taking a family riding trip before the school year. But I guess someone will have to stay behind!!
