When I first rented from them, half of the people in the office seemed not to know English and were all of Chinese decent, and everyone they sent to my house for repairs were all Hispanic, and barely spoke any English. I have had to use an app for translation to talk to both people in the office, as well as the maintenance crew that they have sent to my home. I have previously sent numerous requests to have something fixed around the house, as this house is very old, and doesn't look like anything has been updated in over 20 years! There are dead trees on the property, and need to be cut down, as well as cleared from the roof, as several HUGE branches have already fallen, and caused damage to the roof, and on my car, which busted out the back window, and I had to get it replaced, even after submitting several requests to the office both over the phone, and in person while paying rent. They refuse to replace of fix anything that is no longer being used, or is just a cosmetic issue, as in, when one of the maintenance guys made a huge mess and put a hole in the wall, he did a very quick and sloppy patch job, and used a different color of paint on the patches. I was told to have my kitchen cleaned and everything moved out of the kitchen, as they were going to replace my kichen floor due to the majority of the tiles being cracked and broken, and instead of completely replacing it, they just brough a huge (sheet?) of vinyl to cover the broken tile, and the non-English speaking maintenance guy they sent ripped a hole in the flooring cover, and just laid it down on top, not making sure it was actually under the baseboards, and it was just an incredibly sloppy job! I believe this may have been the first time that he had ever tried to "Fix" a kitchen floor. Also, anytime something is completely broken, like if your water heater starts leaking so bad you are needing to put towel down, and borrow a wet vac to suck the water up 2+ times a day, it took them over 2 weeks to send someone out to look at the issue, and that was only after both the water and gas companies have already came out and told you exactly what needed to be done to fix it. Need landscaping done? If they even send someone out, they landscaping crew will cut a few branches out of trees, and just leave them in the yard exactly where they fell, not even pulling them to the curb, or loading them on a trailer and hauling them off, so if there is more out on the curb than the city allows for a normal big trash pick up, you are left to pay the bill of the extra trash, debris and limbs that were left at the curb. I am so happy I was able to leave this leasing company, but now they are screwing with my friend, and trying to raise her rent 600$, even though the house is in a bad state, and has so many very important repairs that need to be done! I would NEVER rent from this company again!
