First and last time I ever use a moving company. Worse mistake of my life. Be aware that this company doesn’t have “professional” movers. The driver was supposed to be here between 9am-12am and ended up being late because he forgot about the time change… if this is your job you should know that by now, or a good business would let their drivers know these things. If you’re doing a cross country move they will put an AD out on Craigslist in the city you’re moving to and hire WHOEVER is available in less than 24hrs. They take ANY RANDOM person to go in your house and unload your valuable items. One guy was maybe 70yo who just had a heart attack 10days ago, a woman, and some other guy maybe in his 20s who I believe just got out of jail- he said the older guy picked him up. These movers are also underpaid (that’s what the movers said when they got here bc they did the bare minimum since “they weren’t getting paid enough to do this”). Sky van lines must have told them it wasn’t that much stuff. The “movers” were literally arguing loud enough for the neighbors to hear. They do not go through any type of “training” like the company website states either. The moversq couldn’t even get my mattress upstairs, and when they attempted to bring the bed frame upstairs they just scuffed doors & walls. That’s what happens when you hire untrained, no experience individuals. We also had to help unload the truck because they kept bringing stuff out that wasn’t ours. This company has no management or any type of coordination whatsoever. The driver talked to the movers for about 5mins or less, and sat back in his truck. Oh and the driver gave us an inventory slip and wasn’t thorough with it. The #s and stickers made no sense to me. I told him I would keep the paper and he snatched it out of my fiancés hand, got on the phone and started speaking Spanish to someone. Yea that makes me feel safe. I wanted and expected professionalism. Nothing was professional AFTER I paid. Note that you’ll also be stuck reassembling your furniture w/ lost hardware (even though the website states they reassemble things, they don’t) and lifting heavy things when that was their job. Anyway, save your money. Once you’re completely stressed out, Tobias will tell you that you cause your own stress. Yikes. Red flag. It was only almost $6k. Who wouldn’t be upset and frustrated? Common sense. I practically got robbed, since they didn’t even give me money back for most of the work we did and things lost- and didn’t even get an apology for their sloppy job. I’ll attach a couple of photos of how everything was just left in the living room with no room to walk. It was even worse when it was all in here. They expected 3 people to put furniture together?…they looked at me crazy when I said it had to be reassembled. Oh and it would be nice if they at least told their Craigslist movers to wear masks in the middle of pandemic. Don’t be fooled by their fake 5 star reviews, you can pay people to do that. They gotta make sure they bury all their bad reviews. Be sure to read their BBB reviews too, I saw it last minute and immediately regretted it- a lot of them were right. This company will keep getting away with it and scamming people for their money until someone actually audits them. Not to mention- Tobias will threaten to call the cops on you if you try to tell him what’s wrong with their company and what they did wrong, he will say you’re “threatening” him. He doesn’t like it if you tell them they’re liars and scammers. Im the one who got robbed here by a company who claimed to be professionals. What a joke and a nightmare! I have a huge social media following and I’ve made them aware to never use this company. You can tell they avoid accountability as well, just read all the bad reviews and see what it all has in common. (See original reviews and photos on google reviews)
