Cool Ducts HVAC

Cool Ducts was contracted by Homeserve for Xcel Smarthome program. They cam to our home, did the tuneup and recommended we replace a capacitor in our air conditioner. We agreed and paid them for the part. 6 weeks later, I turned on the air conditioner and the unit was putting out hot air, raising the temperature in the house. I contacted them and they told them that our system was not operating. They offered to come out and if it was anything other than they work they provided there would be a trip charge. I would be willing if I chose to hire them to make the repairs, but since they would only be inspecting the parts and work they did, I don't feel they back up their service. I have subsequently canceled my Homeserve contract thru Xcel and do not recommend Cool Ducts. I am going to write reviews on both Homeserve and Xcel to share our experience so others can make an informed decision.

Beginning of March 2022 ( last year), I had some issues with my old furnace that decide to stopped working in the colder days of last Winter. I made a request for a repair through my Home Warranty and first they did send me a contractor that were out of business ( I assume they didn't know at first). After waiting 1 full day for this contractor to get in touch with me and getting no response, I resolve to contact my Home Warranty again. At this time they perform another request for 3 more contractors, which 1 was only available in about 1 week, another one in 3 days and then Nick from Cool Ducts were possible available by the end of the day or the next day. After meeting and having Nick to fix my furnace, I can say he is very professional, very knowledgeable with his work, very responsible, very respectful, prompt, has a excellent sense of humor ( there isn't any problem that boring him , he is always happy, don't matter what

Nick did an outstanding job at troubleshooting the furnace and air conditioning unit, due to poor air flow. Nick located 2 worn parts and cleaned the outside air conditioning unit for better air flow. He took the time to explain to me the process as he was working. A lot of good info and knowledge.

From the beginning to end, Nick was respectful, polite, professional, and thorough. He kept me informed and updated as to his ETA which was super nice! Once Nick arrived, he worked quickly and made sure the A/C was working before he left. I strongly recommend Cool Ducts and I will definitely use him for future calls. Thank you, Nick!

I lost my heat, and it was 15 degrees that morning! Nick was able to come out the same day. He was on time, professional, found the problem quickly, and was able to make the repair immediately - he had the part in his truck. And like someone else commented - great sense of humor. That's always helpful for dealing with "issues." Highly recommend Nick and Cool Ducts. Hope American Home Warranty sends him my way again!
