I gave them a call and they sent Dan out to my house to check it out and give me a quote. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was really nice and helpful and Dan was awesome as well! They got in touch with me after Dan's visit and they provided me with a cash offer. I was super skeptical about the legitimacy of "We Buy Houses" companies. I called several companies and had them come out to my house. Some of them were wholesalers looking to hold up my home under contract and then sell to another investor. Other people seemed like they were trying to run a scam. Ultimately, I felt best going with cashformyhouse.com. They were very friendly, honest and offered a fair price. Most importantly, they bought the house with their own cash and they were the ones who flipped it and resold it. They closed in less than a week using a local title agent (which made me feel comfortable) and I walked away with the exact amount of cash that they initially offered.
